Kombucha Easing My Coronavirus Anxieties

Posted on 9th March, 2020

Yes, I have emergency water, but I also have a keg of kombucha! If I had to quarantine myself for 14 days, I'd be very bummed if my kombucha keg at home tapped out. Not only do I drink it daily, but during cold/flu/virus season, I'm getting fully loaded with immune-boosting probiotics.

Kombucha is my weapon of choice when I'm trying to fight off nasty little viruses. My immune system works like a charm with the help and support 'booch gives me.

If you've been on the fence on whether or not to get KEGJOY™ at home, now's a great time! After all, it's "emergency kombucha." We'll get you all set up too! Lastly, if you can't find hand sanitizer anywhere, we got you covered!

Deanne's Sheraton Blend Hand Sanitizer

Did you know it's only 3 ingredients and easy to make at home? Use isopropyl alcohol (at least 60%), Aleo Vera Gel, and essential oils to make it smell good. Remember this ratio - 2 to 1. It's two parts of alcohol, one part aloe. To make mine smell good I use a bunch of drops of these oils. I call it the Sheraton Blend because it smells like the lobby of a Sheraton hotel. I actually googled their smell once because I love the scent of their lobby.
Here's how to make your hand sanitizer smell like the Sheraton lobby:

  • Bergamot
  • Jasmine
  • Freesia
  • Brown Sugar & Fig

I got all those oils off Amazon and they have lasted me a long time! Two of them came in one set and the other three I found separately. You can also add these oils to your existing hand sanitizers to make them smell like a spa instead of well, alcohol.
